An early, deep-purple plum with red flesh, photographed at tasting in late July. It loves to crack in the rain, so it gets picked ahead of storms here. A good plum - crisp, juicy and sweet - though it tastes like a lot of other purple plums, and I’ve never been particularly impressed with it.
