A very dark purple-black apple with creamy, pink-tinged flesh, tasted here in late October. Really good - incredibly dark skin but only a light red flesh, with a gummy-candy strawberry/cherry flavor. It was very sweet even in a rainy year that diluted the flavor of a lot of my apples, and the fruit ripened very clean.
